Ian Middlemiss vs Dai Hollern

Boxing Daily Report from the Numb Nation promoted show at James Speir Gym, New Haven,  taking place on 08/03/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Connecticut Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Middlemiss (19(1) - 17(1) - 2) who hails from Waterbury, USA and Dai Hollern(24 - 9(1) - 1) from New Haven, USA.  Both Middlemiss and Hollern weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richard Cowans, and the three ringside judges are Dale Carse, Ian Parry and John Hilton.  

Round 1: 

Middlemiss gets on the inside.  Hollern attempts to land a left uppercut, but Middlemiss parries the shot and counters with a solid cross.
