Chris Hewitson vs Joel Smailes

Boxing Daily Report from the James Saint-Claire promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 04/12/2038:

Clearly James Saint-Claire have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Australia-Queensland Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Hewitson (31(22) - 0) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Joel Smailes(13 - 13(1) - 1) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Hewitson and Smailes weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Scott Martin, and the three ringside judges are George Southerland, Corey Pait and Mark Elgin.  

Round 1: 

Hewitson advances into close range.  Smailes quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.
