Gethin Mortimer vs Mark Cant

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Gore Gym, Boston,  taking place on 30/10/2038:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Gethin Mortimer (4(2) - 0) who hails from Boston, USA and Mark Cant(1 - 1 - 1) from San Diego, USA.  Mortimer weighed in at 160 pounds, while Cant weighed in at 159 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cole Connolly, and the three ringside judges are Bilal Elbaz, Richie MacIsaac and Sam Evans.  

Round 1:

Mortimer walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Cant throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Mortimer holds on to his opponent.  Mortimer leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Mortimer's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Cant throws a right hook, but Mortimer holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
