Brad Laidlaw vs James Duffy

Boxing Daily Report from the Bhengu Promotions promoted show at Roger Lang Gym, Lexington,  taking place on 04/11/2038:

Clearly Bhengu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Kentucky Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brad Laidlaw (10 - 12(1) - 4) who hails from Lexington, USA and James Duffy(10 - 14 - 1) from Lexington, USA.  Both Laidlaw and Duffy weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Slone, and the three ringside judges are Dave Stark, Amon Stephen and Michael Balderston.  

Round 1: 

Duffy goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Laidlaw time to recover.  
Duffy advances into close range and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Duffy pivots to the side of his opponent.  Laidlaw lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Laidlaw lands an overhand right to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Laidlaw steps away from his opponent.  Laidlaw feints a left, and then is on target with a cross.  
Duffy closes the distance and forces Laidlaw to back into the corner.  Duffy sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Laidlaw lands a right uppercut.  
Laidlaw tries to step out of his opponents range.  Duffy attempts to land a cross, but Laidlaw slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Laidlaw's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Duffy's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Duffy's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.
