Goro Nomura vs Akira Sugimoto

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Tokyo promoted show at Tokyo Yokoyama, Tokyo,  taking place on 25/09/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Tokyo Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Goro Nomura (7(6) - 0) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Akira Sugimoto(4 - 3 - 3) from Tokyo, Japan.  Both Nomura and Sugimoto weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aki Shimomura, and the three ringside judges are Kaede Toyama, Yuji Tsutsumi and Takeo Taira.  

Round 1: 

Nomura sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Sugimoto throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Nomura gets on the inside and digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sugimoto switches the action to the outside.  Nomura lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Nomura gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Nomura lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Nomura lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Nomura steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Nomura is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Nomura lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body, DROPPING SUGIMOTO TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Sugimoto has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Nomura gets on the inside.  Nomura pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Nomura is on target with a solid left hook to Sugimoto's liver.  Nomura holds on to his opponent.  Nomura pushes his forearm into Sugimoto's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Nomura.  
Nomura lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Nomura clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Nomura walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Nomura drives a left uppercut into Sugimoto's liver.  
Nomura closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS SUGIMOTO!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Nomura is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Nomura whips in a nasty right uppercut to Sugimoto's body.  SUGIMOTO IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Nomura closes the distance.  Nomura lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body, DROPPING SUGIMOTO TO THE CANVAS!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Sugimoto can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Nomura!
