Spencer Gerads vs Ben Mailer

Boxing Daily Report from the Ant promoted show at Columbus Saucerman, Columbus,  taking place on 06/10/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Ohio Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Spencer Gerads (24(4) - 4 - 1) who hails from Cleveland, USA and Ben Mailer(6 - 9) from Columbus, USA.  Both Gerads and Mailer weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Penning, and the three ringside judges are Bruce Beddoe, Dom Forbush and Darryl Boyle.  

Round 1: 

Gerads gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Gerads closes the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Mailer steps to the outside.  Gerads lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Mailer walks Gerads down, trapping him on the ropes.  Gerads drives a solid jab into his opponents face.  
Mailer tries to keep the action at long range.  Gerads lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Gerads connects with a stinging right hook.  Gerads clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Gerads pushes his forearm into Mailer's face.  The ref breaks Gerads's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mailer steps to the outside.  Gerads lands a solid cross.  
Gerads advances into close range and connects with a right hook.  Gerads clinches his opponent.  Gerads is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Gerads to stop fouling.  
Gerads forces Mailer to retreat into the red corner.  Gerads lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.
