Diego Zapata vs Quin Sanchez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Distrito Capital promoted show at Bogota Pascua, Bogota,  taking place on 03/10/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CARACOL, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Diego Zapata (12 - 4 - 3) who hails from Bogota, Colombia and Quin Sanchez(17(9) - 4 - 1) from Soledad, Colombia.  Zapata weighed in at 112 pounds, while Sanchez weighed in at 111 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Vidal Lopez, and the three ringside judges are Ramirez Alegre, Franco Morlan and Vicente Cuenca.  

Round 1: 

Sanchez lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  Sanchez holds on to his opponent.  Sanchez pushes his forearm into Zapata's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Sanchez about fouling.  
Sanchez closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Sanchez connects with a left hook.  Sanchez ties up his opponent.  Sanchez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Sanchez lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Sanchez holds on to his opponent.  Sanchez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Sanchez's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Zapata recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Zapata throws a left hook, but Sanchez ties up his opponent.  Sanchez leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Sanchez steps inside.  Zapata tries to land a left uppercut, but Sanchez blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Sanchez lands a stinging cross.  
Sanchez is looking to close the distance and connects with a right hook.  
Zapata digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Sanchez gets on the inside and manouvers Zapata onto the ropes.  Sanchez drives a sharp right uppercut into Zapata's ribs.  
Sanchez lands two right hooks followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Sanchez is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Zapata pivots from in front of his opponent.  Sanchez lands a FIERCE left uppercut.  ZAPATA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  
Zapata tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Zapata's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Zapata's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Zapata's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Zapata tries to keep the action at long range.  Sanchez throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Sanchez gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Zapata quickly recovers. 
Sanchez gets on the inside and forces Zapata to retreat onto the ropes.  Sanchez lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sanchez lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Sanchez holds on to his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Zapata is looking to keep his distance.  Sanchez feints a left hook, and then lands a powerful cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE ZAPATA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Zapata quickly recovers. 
Sanchez closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Sanchez ties up his opponent.  Sanchez tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Zapata behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Sanchez.  Zapata recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
