Timofei Strazds vs Daniil Saldums

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Latvia-Riga promoted show at Riga Podzinsh, Riga,  taking place on 02/10/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Latvia-Riga Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Viasat Sport Baltic, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Timofei Strazds (13 - 14(1) - 2) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Daniil Saldums(21(3) - 11(5) - 1) from Riga, Latvia.  Strazds weighed in at 130 pounds, while Saldums weighed in at 129 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ivan Prusis, and the three ringside judges are Melor Rags, Sergey Goldbergs and Afon Shaurinsh.
