Salim Nguni vs Owen Waki

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kisumu promoted show at Kisumu Melly, Kisumu,  taking place on 23/09/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Eastern African Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Salim Nguni (17 - 4) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Owen Waki(26(16) - 4(1) - 1) from Kisumu, Kenya.  Both Nguni and Waki weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alen Mwamzandi, and the three ringside judges are Mick Mutu, Mark Lavatsa and Kendis Rimbui.  

Round 1: 

Waki advances into close range and is on target with a right hook to Nguni's ribs.  
Waki drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Waki tries to land a right hook, but Nguni parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Waki drives a left hook into Nguni's body.  
Nguni hits home with a solid jab.  
Waki sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Waki drives a sharp right hook into Nguni's ribs.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Waki dabs at his face checking for damage.

Waki pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Nguni almost instantly recovers.

Waki manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Waki digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents body.

Nguni advances into close range.  Waki is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Nguni tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a cross.  
Nguni drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Waki closes the distance and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Waki walks Nguni down, trapping him on the ropes.  Waki drives a left hook into his opponents liver.

Nguni steps inside.  Waki digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Waki is on target with a firm right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Nguni is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Waki lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Waki closes the distance and digs in a left hook to Nguni's body.  
Waki lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Waki lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Nguni is on target with a left hook to Waki's body.

Waki is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Waki lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, KNOCKING NGUNI DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Waki lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND NGUNI IS KNOCKED DOWN!  The ref does not give Nguni the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Waki!
