Elderson Akpan vs Segun Ariweriyai

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kano State promoted show at Kano Ekpeyong, Kano,  taking place on 23/09/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Kano State Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Elderson Akpan (11 - 2) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Segun Ariweriyai(16 - 26 - 8) from Kano, Nigeria.  Akpan weighed in at 121 pounds and 14 ounces, while Ariweriyai weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Obafemi Olayinka, and the three ringside judges are Corey Wabara, Rashid Nazimuddin and Hope Ukuh.
