Chris Crear vs Wyatt Cerdan

Boxing Daily Report from the Phantom Fights promoted show at Hamilton Persley, Hamilton,  taking place on 20/09/2037:

Clearly Phantom Fights have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada-Ontario Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Crear (33(29) - 2(2)) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Wyatt Cerdan(8 - 3) from Mississauga, Canada.  Both Crear and Cerdan weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Watkins, and the three ringside judges are Euan Mair, Noel Coulthard and Mel Harvey.  

Round 1: 

Crear closes the distance.  Crear sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Crear lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  Crear holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Crear pushes his forearm into Cerdan's face.  The ref breaks Crear's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Crear advances into close range and is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  Crear clinches his opponent.  Crear is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Crear lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Crear clinches his opponent.  Crear pushes his forearm into Cerdan's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Crear to stop fouling.  
Crear is looking to close the distance and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Crear lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cerdan's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Cerdan's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Cerdan's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Crear gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Crear clinches his opponent.  Crear leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Crear's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Cerdan throws a left hook, but Crear ties up his opponent.  Crear is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Crear uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Cerdan behind the head. 
Crear is looking to close the distance and is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Crear lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Crear steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Crear is looking to close the distance.  Crear pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Cerdan steps away from his opponent.  Crear feints a right hook, and then is on target with a cross.
