Ponce Palencia vs Urvano Nieto

Boxing Daily Report from the Boomer Promotions promoted show at Havana Coria, Havana,  taking place on 21/09/2037:

Clearly Boomer Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Havana Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ponce Palencia (12 - 23(3) - 4) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Urvano Nieto(7 - 11(1) - 1) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Palencia and Nieto weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Villano, and the three ringside judges are Desiderio Estacio, Juan Ledezma and Alejandro Limas.  

Round 1: 

Palencia attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Nieto to the neutral corner.  He tells Palencia he will lose a point if he continues to foul.  
Nieto manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Nieto pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Palencia steps to the outside.  Nieto drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Palencia connects with a cross.  
Nieto steps inside.  Nieto sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Palencia's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Nieto sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Palencia lands a right uppercut.
