Tom Johnston vs Ahto Hinkkanene

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Tannadice Park, Dundee,  taking place on 20/09/2037:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the European Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Tom Johnston (32(28) - 0) who hails from Dundee, UK and Ahto Hinkkanene(42(3) - 7(5) - 1) from Helsinki, Finland.  Both Johnston and Hinkkanene weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Priddy, and the three ringside judges are David Hall, Peter Cullen and Gordon Loch.  

Round 1:

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Johnston dabs at his face checking for damage.

Hinkkanene tries to step out of his opponents range.  Johnston feints a jab, tricking Hinkkanene into throwing a right hook counter.  Johnston is waiting for the shot and counters with a FIERCE right hook.  HINKKANENE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Johnston is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Johnston SLAMS a FEROCIOUS left uppercut into his opponents face.  HINKKANENE IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Hinkkanene is looking to close the distance.  Johnston lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES HINKKANENE!  He manages to get up at 6.  It looks like Hinkkanene has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Johnston tries to keep the action at long range and attempts to land an overhand left, but Hinkkanene slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Johnston lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Hinkkanene recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
