Wayne Speed vs Gazi Ghazal

Boxing Daily Report from the Nashanian Promotions promoted show at Riyadh Saba, Riyadh,  taking place on 06/09/2037:

Clearly Nashanian Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Wayne Speed (3(2) - 1(1)) who hails from Liverpool, UK and Gazi Ghazal(1 - 6(1)) from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.  Both Speed and Ghazal weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zain Farrah, and the three ringside judges are Tariq Haq, Rashid Hamed and Rehan Ismail.  

Round 1: 

Speed gets on the inside.  Speed pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Speed sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Speed dabs at his face checking for damage.  Speed has taken some damage there.  That has caused a bad cut in the corner of the right eye.  .

Speed tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Speed closes the distance and walks his opponent into a corner.  Speed is on target with a right hook.  Speed clinches his opponent.  Speed pushes his forearm into Ghazal's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Speed.

Speed quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Speed throws a left uppercut, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Speed clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ghazal pushes his forearm into Speed's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ghazal.  
Speed advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Speed is on target with a firm cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ghazal's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Ghazal's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Ghazal's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
