Baltasar Collar vs Gareth Corrie

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Mary Jane Teall Theater, Wichita,  taking place on 15/08/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Baltasar Collar (0 - 0) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Gareth Corrie(1 - 2) from Oakland, USA.  Both Collar and Corrie weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Davie Whitted, and the three ringside judges are David Edmison, Dominic Galloway and Max Cadden.  

Round 1: 

Collar is looking to close the distance and digs in a right hook to Corrie's body.  
Collar lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Collar advances into close range and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  Collar ties up his opponent.  Collar is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Collar.

Collar manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Collar drives a right hook into Corrie's body.  Collar ties up his opponent.  Collar leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Collar hits home with a left hook.  Collar ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Collar pushes his forearm into Corrie's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Collar to stop fouling.

Collar closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Corrie in a corner.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Collar dabs at his face checking for damage.  Collar has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused a slight cut above.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Corrie's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Corrie's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
