Felix Taylor vs Mark Riojas

Boxing Daily Report from the Eddie Burns promoted show at San Francisco Conant, San Francisco,  taking place on 05/09/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-California Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Felix Taylor (12 - 0) who hails from Santa Clarita, USA and Mark Riojas(20 - 22(3) - 5) from Los Angeles, USA.  Taylor weighed in at 129 pounds and 10 ounces, while Riojas weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hayden Kemble, and the three ringside judges are Sam Dunkin, Noel Bertram and Richie Burnes.  

Round 1: 

Taylor tries to land a left hook, but Riojas blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Taylor feints a right hook, but Riojas ignores the feint and is on target with a right uppercut.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Riojas has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.

Taylor quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Taylor finds the target with a jab.

Taylor pivots from in front of his opponent.  Taylor digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Taylor ties up his opponent.  Taylor tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Riojas behind the head. The referee warns Taylor and breaks the clinch.
