Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Baja California promoted show at Mexicali Machado, Mexicali,  taking place on 02/09/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Baja California Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Neper Aguilera (11 - 0) who hails from Tijuana, Mexico and Carlos Covarrubias(27(4) - 1) from Tijuana, Mexico.  Aguilera weighed in at 247 pounds and 5 ounces, while Covarrubias weighed in at 241 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lisandro Castellanos, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Macario, Vicente Navarra and Eloy Almeida.
