Stuart McTavish vs Noel Syme

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Gore Gym, Boston,  taking place on 22/08/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Stuart McTavish (0 - 0) who hails from Boston, USA and Noel Syme(0 - 1(1)) from Quebec City, Canada.  Both McTavish and Syme weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Owen Saunders, and the three ringside judges are Fred Reese, Richie MacIsaac and Cole Connolly.  

Round 1: 

McTavish is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
McTavish quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.

McTavish is on target with a right hook to Syme's body.  McTavish attempts to land a left hook, but Syme parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
McTavish lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  McTavish clinches his opponent.  McTavish leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Syme is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Syme lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  McTavish hits home with a firm cross.

McTavish lands a solid left uppercut.  McTavish clinches his opponent.  McTavish tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Syme behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McTavish about fouling.  
McTavish digs in a right hook to Syme's body.  
McTavish advances into close range and is on target with a left uppercut.  
McTavish gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
McTavish closes the distance.  McTavish sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  McTavish lands a left uppercut to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  McTavish clinches his opponent.  McTavish uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Syme behind the head. The ref breaks McTavish's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Syme tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a jab, but McTavish parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
McTavish hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
McTavish walks Syme onto the ropes.  McTavish digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
McTavish lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
McTavish gets on the inside and is on target with a weighty left hook to Syme's liver.  IT LOOKS LIKE SYME WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!

He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body, DROPPING SYME TO THE CANVAS!
