James Hughes vs Jonathan Bellis

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Jamaica-Saint Catherine promoted show at Zach Turner Gym, Spanish Town,  taking place on 29/08/2037:

Clearly AI Jamaica-Saint Catherine have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Jamaica-Saint Catherine Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Hughes (3 - 5 - 2) who hails from Spanish Town, Jamaica and Jonathan Bellis(8(4) - 3(1)) from Spanish Town, Jamaica.  Both Hughes and Bellis weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Hemphill, and the three ringside judges are David Ross, Spencer Clanahan and Johnny Weems.  

Round 1: 

Bellis is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Bellis pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a firm left hook.  
Bellis walks Hughes onto the ropes.  Bellis pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a solid right hook.  As Hughes tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bellis dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Hughes throws a left hook, but Bellis holds on to his opponent.  Hughes leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Bellis pushes his forearm into Hughes's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Bellis is on target with a solid right hook to Hughes's body.  Bellis clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Hughes pushes his forearm into Bellis's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Hughes wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Bellis has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Bellis pivots from in front of his opponent.  Hughes connects with a cross.  
Hughes gets on the inside.  Bellis pivots to the right of his opponent.  Bellis throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Bellis ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Bellis pushes his forearm into Hughes's face.  The referee warns Bellis and breaks the clinch.  
Bellis pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Bellis sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Bellis lands a right hook.  Bellis clinches his opponent.  Bellis is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Bellis lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Bellis lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Bellis lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Bellis ties up his opponent.  Bellis leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Hughes pushes his forearm into Bellis's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Bellis drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Bellis lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Bellis lands a right hook.  
Bellis pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Hughes is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Hughes throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Hughes's ribs.  
Hughes closes the distance.  Bellis pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Bellis gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Hughes switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Bellis sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook.  
Hughes steps inside.  Bellis lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Bellis lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Hughes almost instantly recovers. 
Bellis pivots to the left of his opponent.  Bellis attempts to land a left hook, but Hughes slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Hughes throws a left hook, but Bellis clinches his opponent.  Bellis leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Bellis sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Hughes hits home with a right uppercut.  
Bellis gets on the inside.  Bellis pivots to the side of his opponent.  Bellis throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hughes's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Bellis gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Bellis drives a right hook into Hughes's ribcage.  
Bellis lands a jab to Hughes's body.  
Bellis advances into close range.  Bellis pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a sharp right hook.  
Bellis pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Bellis lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Hughes is looking to close the distance.  Bellis lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Hughes steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a cross, but Bellis parries the shot and counters with a stinging left hook to Hughes's body.  HUGHES WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Hughes almost instantly recovers. 
Bellis is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Bellis lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Hughes switches the action to the outside.  Bellis knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Bellis lands a cross followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Bellis steps inside.  Bellis lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head, AND KNOCKS HUGHES DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Hughes cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Bellis!
