Darrell Bona vs Ciel Dacourt

Boxing Daily Report from the Money Promotion promoted show at Yaoundé Multipurpose Sports Complex, Yaoundé,  taking place on 07/09/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Cameroon Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal 2 Cameroon, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Darrell Bona (17(9) - 1(1)) who hails from Yaoundé, Cameroon and Ciel Dacourt(28 - 12(4) - 2) from Douala, Cameroon.  Bona weighed in at 140 pounds, while Dacourt weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Briar Meiffret, and the three ringside judges are Darrell Djone, Fabron Baudhuin and Albain Pays.  

Round 1: 

Dacourt gets on the inside.  Bona lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Bona holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Bona lands a solid right uppercut.  
Bona steps inside.  Dacourt tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Bona lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Bona tries to land a left hook, but Dacourt slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Bona's ribs.  
Bona lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Bona hits home with a right hook.  
Bona lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Dacourt pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Dacourt connects with a cross.  
Bona steps inside and connects with a stinging left hook.  
Dacourt hits home with a solid jab.  
Bona gets on the inside and connects with a firm left hook.  
Dacourt attempts to land a right uppercut, but Bona sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Bona is looking to close the distance.  Bona pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Bona lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Dacourt lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Bona lands a firm cross.  
Bona sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, DROPPING DACOURT TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Dacourt quickly recovers. 
Bona gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Dacourt gets on the inside.  Bona lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Bona lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Dacourt sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Bona lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Bona tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Dacourt throws a right hook, but Bona clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Dacourt pushes his forearm into Bona's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Bona manages to force Dacourt onto the ropes.  Bona lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Bona is on target with a firm left hook.  DACOURT WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Bona knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Bona lands a left uppercut followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS DACOURT DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Bona!
