Anthony Gowans vs Marcelino Van Dongen

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Elland Road, Leeds,  taking place on 05/09/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Western Europe Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Anthony Gowans (10(2) - 0) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Marcelino Van Dongen(15 - 4(2)) from Ghent, Belgium.  Gowans weighed in at 235 pounds and 1 ounces, while Van Dongen weighed in at 237 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Justin Donne, and the three ringside judges are Glynn James, Daniel McPhillips and Chris McReynolds.
