Joaquin Trigueros vs Baltasar Barillas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Guanajuato promoted show at Quito Casado Gym, Leon,  taking place on 28/08/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Guanajuato Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Trigueros (5(1) - 1) who hails from Leon, Mexico and Baltasar Barillas(11 - 9 - 4) from Leon, Mexico.  Trigueros weighed in at 108 pounds, while Barillas weighed in at 107 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Pozo, and the three ringside judges are Quico Brizuela, Leonardo Holguin and Fausto Cal.  

Round 1: 

Barillas closes the distance.  Trigueros quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Barillas throws a right hook, but Trigueros clinches his opponent.  Trigueros pushes his forearm into Barillas's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Trigueros.  
Trigueros lands with a stinging jab.  
Trigueros steps inside and is on target with a stinging left uppercut to Barillas's body.  
Trigueros lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Trigueros is on target with a right hook to Barillas's ribcage.  
Trigueros advances into close range and throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Trigueros clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks Trigueros's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Barillas sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Trigueros lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Trigueros lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  Trigueros holds on to his opponent.  Trigueros is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Trigueros cuts off the ring, trapping Barillas in the corner.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Trigueros dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Trigueros lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Trigueros lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Trigueros gets on the inside and drives a stinging left uppercut into Barillas's body.  
Trigueros pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Trigueros lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Trigueros is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Barillas almost instantly recovers. 
Trigueros closes the distance and drives a left hook into Barillas's ribs.  Trigueros clinches his opponent.  Trigueros leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Trigueros's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Barillas steps inside.  Trigueros drives a sharp left hook into Barillas's body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Barillas dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Barillas.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Trigueros closes the distance and digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Barillas tries to land a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Trigueros sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Barillas's body.  
Trigueros steps inside and digs in a left hook to Barillas's liver.  
Trigueros lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Trigueros lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Trigueros digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Trigueros lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Trigueros is on target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Barillas's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Barillas's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND SENDS BARILLAS SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Barillas has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
