Jamie Mulligan vs Dom Ahearne

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Walker Stadium, Portland,  taking place on 17/08/2037:

Clearly Ringside Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Jamie Mulligan (3(2) - 0) who hails from Swindon, UK and Dom Ahearne(12 - 14(1) - 3) from Newcastle, UK.  Mulligan weighed in at 140 pounds, while Ahearne weighed in at 139 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Brett Edmison, and the three ringside judges are James Mardock, Alec Romo and Max Lewis.  

Round 1: 

Mulligan lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.

Ahearne walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Mulligan lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Mulligan is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Mulligan feints a jab, but Ahearne ignores the feint and is on target with a cross.

Ahearne gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but Mulligan ties up his opponent.  Mulligan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Ahearne is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ahearne.  
Mulligan tries to step out of his opponents range.  Mulligan feints a right hook, and then lands a nasty overhand right.  AHEARNE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Ahearne quickly recovers. 
Ahearne steps inside.  Mulligan lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Mulligan holds on to his opponent.  Mulligan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mulligan sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a firm left hook.  
Mulligan sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Mulligan connects with an overhand right.  
Mulligan feints a left hook, and then is on target with a cross.  
Mulligan lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.
