Steven Duffy vs William Whitson

Boxing Daily Report from the Eddie Burns promoted show at Crowne Plaza Hotel, San Diego,  taking place on 22/08/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-California Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Steven Duffy (20(7) - 3(1) - 2) who hails from Rancho Cucamonga, USA and William Whitson(19(2) - 0 - 1) from San Jose, USA.  Both Duffy and Whitson weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Vaughan, and the three ringside judges are Paul Annand, Dylan Nield and Sam Lowe.  

Round 1:
