Kian Ewing vs Alec Hanes

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Vector Arena, Auckland,  taking place on 29/08/2037:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kian Ewing (19 - 15(2) - 1) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Alec Hanes(9 - 2(1)) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Both Ewing and Hanes weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hani Rarere, and the three ringside judges are Kenzie Anderson, Corey Hopper and Tua Patariki.  

Round 1: 

Ewing quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ewing tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
