Onofre Velo vs Leo Hart

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Columbus Theatre, Providence,  taking place on 13/08/2037:

Clearly Los Moreco Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Onofre Velo (4(2) - 0) who hails from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic and Leo Hart(27 - 18 - 8) from Los Angeles, USA.  Both Velo and Hart weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Bellillo, and the three ringside judges are Malcolm Littlejohn, Charlie Mate and Peter Echevarria.  

Round 1: 

Velo is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Velo steps inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Hart throws a left hook, but Velo clinches his opponent.  Hart is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Hart about fouling.  
Velo walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Hart throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Velo is looking to close the distance.  Velo pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Hart quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Velo hits home with a right hook.  
Velo hits home with a left hook.  
Hart steps inside.  Velo throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Velo holds on to his opponent.  Velo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Velo lands a jab to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a cross to the head.  
Velo attempts to land a right hook, but Hart parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Velo cuts off the ring, trapping Hart on the ropes.  Velo digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Hart throws a left hook, but Velo clinches his opponent.  Velo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Velo and breaks the clinch.  
Velo connects with a left hook.  
Velo gets on the inside.  Hart pivots from in front of his opponent.  Velo lands a left hook.  Velo tries to land a right hook, but Hart sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Velo lands a firm cross.  
Velo lands a solid left hook.

Velo lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Velo holds on to his opponent.  Velo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Velo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Velo is on target with a stinging left hook to Hart's body.  
Velo lands a solid left hook.  
Velo lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Velo steps inside and connects with a left hook.

Velo tries to land a right hook, but Hart sidesteps and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.

Velo gets on the inside.  Hart voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Velo tries to tag Hart on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Velo lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Velo ties up his opponent.  Velo uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Hart's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Velo.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Hart's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Hart's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Hart's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
