Merrill Matute vs Porter Verne

Boxing Daily Report from the Simanansa Promotions promoted show at Bamenda Mauresmo, Bamenda,  taking place on 21/08/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Nord-Oueste Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Merrill Matute (17 - 5(1)) who hails from Bamenda, Cameroon and Porter Verne(12(1) - 3) from Bamenda, Cameroon.  Both Matute and Verne weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Didier Maffo, and the three ringside judges are Garner Moukandjo, Alain Nolin and Holland Feydeau.
