Mel Christopher vs Hugh Salton

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Vector Arena, Auckland,  taking place on 29/08/2037:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mel Christopher (30(2) - 14(3) - 3) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Hugh Salton(17(1) - 3(1)) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Christopher weighed in at 112 pounds and 8 ounces, while Salton weighed in at 112 pounds.    As Christopher came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the titles on the line tonight.  
The referee tonight is Tua Patariki, and the three ringside judges are Kenzie Anderson, Corey Hopper and Hani Rarere.
