Santiago Vara vs Rafael Batista

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Brazil-Rio de Janeiro promoted show at Rio de Janeiro Renta, Rio de Janeiro,  taking place on 17/08/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Rio de Janeiro Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Vara (2 - 16 - 2) who hails from Sao Goncalo, Brazil and Rafael Batista(11(3) - 5) from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  Both Vara and Batista weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ulises Domingues, and the three ringside judges are Gabriel Villarroel, Diego Inocencio and Juan Lucio.  

Round 1:
