Mauro Amendola vs John McKay

Boxing Daily Report from the No Limit promoted show at Joe Gym, Sydney,  taking place on 18/08/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-New South Wales Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mauro Amendola (4 - 13 - 4) who hails from Sydney, Australia and John McKay(15(9) - 2) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Amendola and McKay weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yasin Younan, and the three ringside judges are Dai Lesley, Jasper Gillis and Max Ogletree.  

Round 1: 

McKay steps inside.  Amendola throws a right hook, but McKay holds on to his opponent.  McKay pushes his forearm into Amendola's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
McKay lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  McKay clinches his opponent.  McKay is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Amendola tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Amendola switches the action to the outside and hits home with an overhand left.  
McKay closes the distance and manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  McKay lands a solid right hook.
