Kendis Quaye vs Jacob Carrothers

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Texas promoted show at Beamers Nightclub, Dallas,  taking place on 15/08/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kendis Quaye (14(10) - 0) who hails from Mitchells Plain, South Africa and Jacob Carrothers(10 - 14 - 6) from Dallas, USA.  Both Quaye and Carrothers weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Henry Messer, and the three ringside judges are Louis Mairs, Corey Barnes and John Esson.  

Round 1: 

Quaye lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Quaye pivots to the side of his opponent and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Carrothers advances into close range.  Quaye hits home with a firm left hook.  Quaye ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Quaye pushes his forearm into Carrothers's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Quaye.  
Carrothers sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Quaye digs in a forceful left hook to Carrothers's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE CARROTHERS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Carrothers almost instantly recovers. 
Quaye lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Quaye lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body, AND DOWN GOES CARROTHERS!  He manages to get up at 6.  
Quaye is looking to close the distance and drives a stinging right uppercut into his opponents body.  Quaye clinches his opponent.  Quaye leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Quaye is on target with a solid left uppercut.  
Quaye lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Quaye ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Carrothers pushes his forearm into Quaye's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Carrothers about fouling.  
Quaye walks his opponent into a neutral corner.  Quaye is on target with a left hook.  
Quaye lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Quaye lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Quaye lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Quaye manages to force Carrothers into a neutral corner.  Quaye digs in a stinging right hook to Carrothers's body.  Quaye ties up his opponent.  Quaye uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Carrothers's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Quaye.  
Quaye lands a right hook.  
Quaye connects with a right uppercut.  
Quaye lands a FIERCE right uppercut.  CARROTHERS IS HURT!  Carrothers recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Quaye lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Quaye lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Carrothers throws a left hook, but Quaye clinches his opponent.  Quaye leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Quaye forces Carrothers to back into the corner.  Quaye lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Quaye holds on to his opponent.  Quaye leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Quaye's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Quaye lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Quaye quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a stinging right hook to Carrothers's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Carrothers's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Carrothers's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Quaye lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Carrothers almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Quaye feints a left, and then is on target with a left uppercut to Carrothers's ribs.  
Carrothers is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but Quaye ties up his opponent.  Quaye hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Quaye sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Carrothers recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Quaye lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS CARROTHERS TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Quaye pivots to the left of his opponent.  Carrothers hits home with a left hook.  
Quaye lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Quaye drives a telling left hook into his opponents body.  CARROTHERS IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  
Quaye lands a stinging left hook.  Quaye ties up his opponent.  Quaye leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Quaye tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Carrothers behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Quaye about fouling.  It looks like Carrothers has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Quaye digs in a forceful left hook to his opponents liver.  IT LOOKS LIKE CARROTHERS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Carrothers almost instantly recovers. 
Quaye closes the distance and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Quaye lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Quaye lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Quaye digs in a telling left uppercut to his opponents body.  CARROTHERS HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE FAILS TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Quaye!
