Indra Bhandari vs Vinay Tewari

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Tamil Nadu promoted show at Chennai Salih, Chennai,  taking place on 14/08/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the India-Tamil Nadu Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TEN Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Indra Bhandari (2 - 9(1) - 2) who hails from Chennai, India and Vinay Tewari(17 - 12(2) - 3) from Chennai, India.  Both Bhandari and Tewari weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Baldev Bahri, and the three ringside judges are Jyotish Narra, Girish Mehra and Madhav Kamdar.  

Round 1: 

Tewari steps inside.  Bhandari quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Tewari digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Tewari attempts to land a left hook, but Bhandari parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Bhandari is looking to keep his distance and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Bhandari has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
