Luca Vinay vs Ritt Geringer

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Switzerland-West promoted show at Bois-des-Frères sports centre, Geneva,  taking place on 22/08/2037:

Clearly AI Switzerland-West have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Luca Vinay (21(21) - 0 - 1) who hails from Tarant, Italy and Ritt Geringer(6 - 7(1)) from Bern, Switzerland.  Both Vinay and Geringer weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vachel Gary, and the three ringside judges are Launcelot Damita, Pernell Herard and Montrose Belair.  

Round 1: 

Geringer throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Vinay closes the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Vinay lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Vinay holds on to his opponent.  Vinay is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Vinay to stop fouling.

Geringer steps inside.  Vinay lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Geringer almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Vinay lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Geringer almost instantly gets his legs back.

Vinay is looking to close the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Vinay strikes his opponents body with a sharp cross.  
Vinay lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.

Geringer gets on the inside.  Vinay pivots to the side of his opponent.  Vinay throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot.  Vinay holds on to his opponent.  Geringer pushes his forearm into Vinay's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Vinay closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Vinay lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Vinay holds on to his opponent.  Geringer uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Vinay's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Geringer hits home with a left hook.  Vinay ties up his opponent.  Vinay leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Vinay lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Vinay digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Vinay is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Vinay pivots to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Vinay gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Vinay gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Vinay lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Vinay connects with a sharp right uppercut.  
Vinay is on target with a solid left hook to Geringer's liver.  
Vinay lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Vinay walks Geringer down, trapping him on the ropes.  Vinay lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Geringer attempts to land a left hook, but Vinay blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Vinay sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Geringer digs in a right uppercut to Vinay's ribcage.  
Vinay advances into close range and is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Geringer is on target with a left hook.  
Geringer steps inside.  Vinay slams a mean left hook into his opponents body.  GERINGER IS HURT!  Geringer quickly recovers. 
Geringer cuts off the ring, trapping Vinay on the ropes.  Geringer throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Geringer advances into close range.  Vinay lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND DROPS GERINGER TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Geringer recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Geringer is on target with a left hook.  Vinay holds on to his opponent.  Vinay leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Vinay is looking to close the distance.  Geringer sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Vinay lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Geringer attempts to land a jab, but Vinay slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Vinay is looking to close the distance and crashes a hurtful right hook to Geringer's body.  GERINGER WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Vinay connects with a sharp left hook.  Geringer now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Geringer hits home with a cross.  
Vinay lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, DROPPING GERINGER TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Geringer is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Vinay!
