Dave Gruffudd vs Max Reece

Boxing Daily Report from the Dadekian Promotions promoted show at Oklahoma City Lundie, Oklahoma City,  taking place on 09/08/2037:

Clearly Dadekian Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Oklahoma Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Gruffudd (26 - 10 - 1) who hails from Tulsa, USA and Max Reece(20 - 9 - 2) from Tulsa, USA.  Gruffudd weighed in at 199 pounds and 10 ounces, while Reece weighed in at 199 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Braddick, and the three ringside judges are Robert Braddick, Dave Watterson and Michael Brownlee.  

Round 1: 

Gruffudd switches the action to the outside and hits home with an overhand left.

Reece is looking to close the distance.  Gruffudd digs in a right hook to Reece's body.  Gruffudd ties up his opponent.  Reece is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Reece throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. As they grapple, Reece pushes his forearm into Gruffudd's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Gruffudd.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
