Robert Watters vs Ricky Roby

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Bob Martinez Sports Center, Tampa,  taking place on 05/09/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Robert Watters (4(1) - 0) who hails from Albuquerque, USA and Ricky Roby(6 - 5(1) - 1) from Phoenix, USA.  Both Watters and Roby weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stuart Gillund, and the three ringside judges are Lloyd Purse, Fanuco Onate and Fanuco Onate.  

Round 1: 

Roby sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Watters lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Watters steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Watters ties up his opponent.  Watters pushes his forearm into Roby's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Watters quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Watters digs in a right hook to Roby's ribcage.  Watters ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Watters pushes his forearm into Roby's face.  The ref breaks Watters's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
