Mark McNeilly vs Shayan Sharifi

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Elland Road, Leeds,  taking place on 05/09/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the WRBO Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mark McNeilly (27(17) - 3(1)) who hails from Londonderry, UK and Shayan Sharifi(43(39) - 2(2)) from Hyderabad, India.  McNeilly weighed in at 245 pounds, while Sharifi weighed in at 252 pounds And 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Glynn James, and the three ringside judges are Daniel McPhillips, Justin Donne and Chris McReynolds.  

Round 1:

McNeilly feints a jab, and then tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Sharifi gets on the inside and walks McNeilly down, trapping him on the ropes.  As McNeilly tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sharifi dabs at his face checking for damage.

He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is McNeilly!
