Sajid Malik vs Owen Cherigat

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kiambu promoted show at Kikuyu Gachu, Kikuyu,  taking place on 08/08/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Kiambu Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sajid Malik (2 - 9 - 4) who hails from Kikuyu, Kenya and Owen Cherigat(3 - 4 - 1) from Kikuyu, Kenya.  Malik weighed in at 139 pounds And 13 ounces, while Cherigat weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jay Karanja, and the three ringside judges are Azam Taheri, Amon Itote and Jay Karanja.
