Connor Methven vs Chris Melrose

Boxing Daily Report from the Ant promoted show at Cleveland Peterson, Cleveland,  taking place on 10/08/2037:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Great Lakes Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Connor Methven (23(1) - 0) who hails from Columbus, USA and Chris Melrose(33(5) - 4 - 4) from Minneapolis, USA.  Both Methven and Melrose weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lee Saucerman, and the three ringside judges are James Goudy, Rob Begg and Justin Moloney.
