Duncan Arbuthnot vs Sam Meredith

Boxing Daily Report from the Kronk Gym II promoted show at Adalimortty Gym, Detroit,  taking place on 06/08/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Michigan Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Duncan Arbuthnot (12 - 15) who hails from Detroit, USA and Sam Meredith(7 - 0) from Grand Rapids, USA.  Both Arbuthnot and Meredith weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Tew, and the three ringside judges are Mick Wathen, Amon Watters and John Kennan.  

Round 1: 

Meredith lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Meredith gets on the inside.  Meredith sidesteps to the right of his opponent andMeredith wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Arbuthnot dabs at his face checking for damage.
