Min-hyeok Kee vs Bo-kyung Baek

Boxing Daily Report from the Baah Promotions promoted show at Daegu Whang, Daegu,  taking place on 03/08/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Korea-Daegu Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Min-hyeok Kee (8 - 1) who hails from Daegu, South Korea and Bo-kyung Baek(18 - 25(1) - 3) from Daegu, South Korea.  Both Kee and Baek weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Seung-gyu Um, and the three ringside judges are Chung-yong Byun, Jin-su Nahm and Chung-yong Byun.  

Round 1: 

Kee closes the distance and lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  Kee ties up his opponent.  Kee is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kee to stop fouling.  
Kee lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Kee gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Kee hits the target with a stiff jab.  
Kee steps inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kee hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Kee quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a sharp cross.  
Kee gets on the inside and digs in a right uppercut to Baek's ribcage.  
Kee drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Kee attempts to land a right hook, but Baek sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kee lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Baek attempts to land a jab, but Kee parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Kee closes the distance.  Baek throws a left hook, but Kee clinches his opponent.  Kee leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Baek's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Baek's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Baek's trainer is passing on some tactical advice. The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Baek dabs at his face checking for damage.  Baek has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
