Edmundo Zarco vs Linus Beckman

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Arena Corinthians, Sao Paulo,  taking place on 05/09/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SporTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Edmundo Zarco (13(6) - 1(1)) who hails from Fortaleza, Brazil and Linus Beckman(25 - 13(5) - 1) from Stockholm, Sweden.  Both Zarco and Beckman weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente DaVilla, and the three ringside judges are Eduardo Quintela, Ulises Souva and Rodrigo Narciso.  

Round 1: 

Zarco throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Beckman attempts to land a cross, but Zarco blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Beckman manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Beckman lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Zarco steps to the outside and is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Beckman sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Beckman walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Beckman tries to land a jab, but Zarco slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Beckman pivots to the right of his opponent.  Zarco lands with a hard jab.  
Beckman lands a cross.  Beckman tries to land a cross, but Zarco sidesteps and counters with a CRUSHING left hook.  BECKMAN IS HURT!  
Zarco sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Zarco lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES BECKMAN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Beckman now seems to have his senses back.

Beckman lands with a stinging jab.

Beckman quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Zarco lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Zarco lands with a stiff jab.

Zarco steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Beckman almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Beckman cuts off the ring, trapping Zarco on the ropes.  Zarco finds the target with a jab.  
Zarco steps to the outside and hits home with a hard jab.  
Zarco quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Beckman's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Beckman's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Zarco drives a jab into Beckman's body.  
Zarco steps to the outside.  Zarco quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Beckman tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.

Beckman forces Zarco to retreat onto the ropes.  The right shot from Zarco could be enough to force the stoppage!  Zarco EXPLODES a MASSIVE cross into his opponents face.  BECKMAN IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Beckman now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Zarco pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Zarco tries to step out of his opponents range.  Zarco is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Zarco lands a right hook to the body followed by two right uppercut's to the head, AND DROPS BECKMAN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Beckman cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Zarco!
