Kei Kondo vs Takeo Okura

Boxing Daily Report from the Koranteng Promotions promoted show at Yutaka Araya Gym, Sapporo,  taking place on 28/07/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kei Kondo (21 - 19(1) - 4) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Takeo Okura(10 - 18 - 4) from Hakodate, Japan.  Both Kondo and Okura weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ryuu Ogawa, and the three ringside judges are Kyo Minami, Kyo Minami and Michi Kaneko.  

Round 1: 

Okura lands a cross.  
Okura advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Okura pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a jab.

Okura is looking to close the distance and forces Kondo to retreat onto the ropes.  Kondo lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
