Shayan Barakat vs Akil Parikh

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the India-Uttar Pradesh Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shayan Barakat (24(4) - 3(1)) who hails from Kanpur, India and Akil Parikh(25(1) - 9(3)) from Lucknow, India.  Barakat weighed in at 147 pounds, while Parikh weighed in at 146 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Damodar Ghoda, and the three ringside judges are Abhay Beharry, Adnan Basher and Damodar Ghoda.
