Boxing Daily Report from the James Saint-Claire promoted show at University of the Sunshine Coast, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 08/08/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Bob The Next Big Thing Niven (21(4) - 1) who hails from Gold Coast, Australia and Bryn Friel(8 - 10 - 2) from Brisbane, Australia.  Niven weighed in at 135 pounds, while Friel weighed in at 135 pounds And 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Skiver, and the three ringside judges are Rob Gollon, Corey Pait and Dillon Benetollo.  

Round 1: 

Friel advances into close range.  Niven connects with a right uppercut.  Niven holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Niven pushes his forearm into Friel's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Niven is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with an overhand right.
