Daiki Kita vs Taro Hoga

Boxing Daily Report from the Muya Promotions promoted show at Matsudo Kanemoto, Matsudo,  taking place on 27/07/2037:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Chiba Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daiki Kita (27(2) - 20(11) - 1) who hails from Chiba, Japan and Taro Hoga(6 - 9(3) - 3) from Kashiwa, Japan.  Kita weighed in at 200 pounds, while Hoga weighed in at 199 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Akira Kamei, and the three ringside judges are Eiji Ozaki, Yoshi Nomura and Hiro Ueno.  

Round 1: 

Kita steps inside and lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kita hits home with a cross.  
Kita is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent into the corner.  Kita lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Kita drives a jab into Hoga's body.  
Kita manages to force Hoga into a neutral corner.  Kita drives a right hook into Hoga's ribs.  
Kita lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kita steps inside and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kita gets on the inside.  Kita pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Hoga recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Kita pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a firm right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Kita steps inside and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Kita sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kita pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a stinging jab.  
Kita closes the distance.  Kita digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  As Hoga tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Kita.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Hoga sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Hoga digs in a right hook to Kita's ribcage.  Hoga tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kita is looking to close the distance.  Kita pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into Hoga's liver.  
Kita closes the distance.  Hoga pivots from in front of his opponent.  Kita drives a sharp right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  Kita tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Kita lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hoga tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kita gets on the inside.  Kita sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hoga's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Hoga's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Hoga's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Kita pivots to the side of his opponent.  Kita tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Kita forces Hoga to retreat onto the ropes.  Kita hits home with a right uppercut.  
Kita lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Hoga almost instantly recovers. 
Kita pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Kita digs in a sharp right hook to Hoga's body.  
Kita manages to force Hoga into a neutral corner.  Kita digs in a left hook to Hoga's body.  As Kita tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together! The foul has worsened the damage  around the left eye.

Kita manages to force Hoga onto the ropes.  Kita whips in a nasty right uppercut to Hoga's ribcage.  HOGA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Hoga quickly recovers.
