Mick Purvis vs Reyes Prudencio

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Sofi Stadium, Los Angeles,  taking place on 19/09/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mick the Beast Purvis (25(23) - 2(2)) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Reyes Prudencio(22(6) - 8(2)) from Rosario, Argentina.  Both Purvis and Prudencio weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Prichard, and the three ringside judges are Obaid Abdelnour, Gareth Downey and Ian Woodhead.  

Round 1: 

Prudencio steps inside.  Purvis is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Prudencio switches the action to the outside and tries to land an overhand right, but Purvis dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Prudencio tries to land a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a FEROCIOUS left hook.  PRUDENCIO IS HURT!  Prudencio almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Prudencio is looking to close the distance.  Prudencio lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  As Prudencio tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Purvis dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Purvis steps to the outside and lands two jabs followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Purvis connects with an overhand left.  
Purvis is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Purvis sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a stiff jab.  
Prudencio gets on the inside.  Purvis drives a firm right hook into his opponents body.  As Prudencio tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Purvis has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
