Jiro Morimoto vs Taro Seki

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Aichi promoted show at Toyota Sugihara, Toyota,  taking place on 15/07/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Aichi Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jiro Morimoto (11(6) - 1) who hails from Toyota, Japan and Taro Seki(19 - 15(1) - 3) from Okazaki, Japan.  Both Morimoto and Seki weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yuji Shiroma, and the three ringside judges are Mikio Tobe, Yasushi Jin and Yutaka Okubo.  

Round 1: 

Morimoto gets on the inside.  Morimoto quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Morimoto lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Morimoto retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Seki tries to tag Morimoto on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Morimoto steps inside and drives a right hook into Seki's ribs.  
Morimoto lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Seki steps to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Morimoto gets on the inside.  Seki quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Morimoto lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Morimoto lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Seki quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Morimoto throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Morimoto closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.

Morimoto steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body. Seki sidesteps to the left of his opponent andMorimoto wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Seki has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.

Morimoto gets on the inside.  Seki pivots to the right of his opponent.  Morimoto hits home with a right hook.  
Morimoto lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Morimoto lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Morimoto digs in a solid right hook to Seki's body.  
Morimoto lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Morimoto drives a left hook into Seki's body.  Morimoto ties up his opponent.  Morimoto is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Seki tries to step out of his opponents range.  Morimoto lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS SEKI SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Seki has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Morimoto gets on the inside.  Seki pivots to the left of his opponent.  Seki throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Morimoto time to recover.  
Seki lands a cross.  
Morimoto lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Seki recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Morimoto tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Morimoto DETONATES a spiteful left hook on his opponents face.  SEKI IS HURT!  Seki almost instantly gets his legs back. 
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Morimoto's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Seki's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Seki's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Morimoto steps inside.  Morimoto knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Morimoto lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SEKI IS DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Morimoto!
