Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Caesars Palace Pavilion, Las Vegas,  taking place on 11/07/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESPN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xeres Trejo (32(27) - 0) who hails from Carolina, Puerto Rico and Gustaaf Cilliers(30(1) - 9(7)) from East London, South Africa.  Both Trejo and Cilliers weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mike Faulkner, and the three ringside judges are George Ramo, Darryl Draffen and Danny Doctor.  

Round 1: 

Cilliers pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Cilliers advances into close range.  Trejo lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Trejo hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Cilliers gets on the inside and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Cilliers cuts off the ring, trapping Trejo on the ropes.  Cilliers lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Trejo is on target with a left hook.  
Cilliers digs in a right hook to Trejo's ribs.  
Trejo lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Cilliers is looking to close the distance.  Cilliers pivots to the side of his opponent.  Cilliers tries to land a left hook, but Trejo sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Trejo tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Trejo lands an overhand right to the head, a cross to the body and a jab to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Cilliers almost instantly gets his legs back.

Cilliers is looking to close the distance and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left hook to Cilliers's ribs.  
Trejo is looking to keep his distance and lands with a stiff jab.  
Cilliers steps inside.  Trejo sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Cilliers lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Cilliers walks Trejo onto the ropes.  Cilliers sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Cilliers pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Trejo is looking to keep his distance and lands a spiteful jab.  
Trejo lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands a jab, cross and an overhand left to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Cilliers recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Cilliers advances into close range and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Cilliers sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Trejo hits home with a right hook.  
Cilliers throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.
