Chris Shives vs Ryan Prichard

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Virginia promoted show at Richmond Rees, Richmond,  taking place on 06/07/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Virginia Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Shives (23 - 21(3) - 6) who hails from Norfolk, USA and Ryan Prichard(16 - 9(1) - 2) from Virginia Beach, USA.  Shives weighed in at 122 pounds, while Prichard weighed in at 121 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cole Scott, and the three ringside judges are Matt Rhydderch, Thomas Miller and Jasper MacFarland.  

Round 1: 

Prichard closes the distance.  Shives steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Prichard is whaling away with hooks, but Shives keeps his defence tight.

Prichard goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Shives to the neutral corner.  He warns Prichard to stop fouling or he'll lose a point.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Shives's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Shives's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Prichard's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
