Gangapada Manjunath vs Haaris Basa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Gujurat promoted show at Gujurat University Convention Hall, Ahmedabad,  taking place on 04/07/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the India-Gujurat Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gangapada Manjunath (33(24) - 14(10)) who hails from Ahmedabad, India and Haaris Basa(14 - 9 - 6) from Surat, India.  Manjunath weighed in at 140 pounds, while Basa weighed in at 139 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Arjuna Rangaswamy, and the three ringside judges are Santhosh Bhalla, Waqar Shakoor and Anupam Rana.  

Round 1: 

Manjunath feints a jab, but Basa does not fall for it and is on target with a left hook.

Basa gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Manjunath lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Manjunath ties up his opponent.  Manjunath tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Basa's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Manjunath about fouling.
